The Streamy Awards honor the best in online video and the creators behind it. The annual event brings together the biggest names in YouTube and online video for a night of celebration, discovery, and meaningful recognition.
Last year’s 3rd Annual Streamy Awards garnered over 7 million live and VOD views. With 2.1 million Twitter timeline impressions, the #streamys was a worldwide trending topic on Twitter throughout the entire live stream. The two-hour live show featured the biggest names on YouTube and social media and was a Primetime Emmy Award Finalist and a Telly Awards Winner.
The 3rd Annual Streamy Awards was hosted by Chris Hardwick and featured performances from Boyce Avenue and Soulja Boy, an original collaboration featuring Vanilla Ice, Chester See, and Mike Tompkins, Epic Rap Battles of History, and a never-before seen collaboration of Impossible featuring Shontelle, Savannah Outen, Kurt Hugo Schneider, Sam Tsui, Lisa Lavie, and over one hundred creators that submitted their own YouTube cover songs.
Past Streamys winners include Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, Philip DeFranco, KassemG, Epic Rap Battles of History, Kids React, Lindsey Stirling, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Felicia Day, Zach Galifianakis, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Shane Dawson, Illeana Douglas, William Shatner, Neil Patrick Harris, Joss Whedon, Rosario Dawson, and Paul Rudd.
The 4th Annual Streamy Awards will be live-streamed this fall from Los Angeles.
