Streamy Awards Nominations Announcement — Live on Monday at 9:30am

The countdown to the 2010 Streamys Nominations announcement is officially on. We’re just three short days away from learning who will spend the next six weeks practicing acceptance speeches in anticipation of joining the Winner’s Circle at the Awards Ceremony on April 11.

We already let you know the Streamy Awards nominees will be announced on Monday, March 1 right here at Streamys.org, but we didn’t tell you how the announcement will take place. Like baseball, rock ‘n’ roll, and Bill O’Reilly, we think the Nominations annoucement will be much better live.

We’re teaming up with our friends over at theStream.tv to livestream the Nominees across the following ten categories:

• • Best Drama Web Series
• • Best Hosted Web Series
• • Best News or Documentary Web Series
• • Best Companion Web Series
• • Best Male Actor in a Drama Web Series
• • Best Female Actor in a Drama Web Series
• • Best Male Actor in a Comedy Web Series
• • Best Female Actor in a Comedy Web Series
• • Best Guest Star in a Web Series

The uber-talented Shira Lazar will host the event and recite the names of the Nominees along with the help of a handful of 2009 Streamy Awards Winners. Be sure to tune into Streamys.org at 9:30am (PT). Keep your fingers crossed!
