Streamys, IAWTV Submission Deadlines Extended!
Time is ticking to submit your favorite web series to the 2010 Streamy Awards, but now it’ll be ticking for a few days longer.
The deadline for Public Submissions has just been extended to 11:59PM PST on Monday, January 18. Certified Submissions will still close after 11:59PM PST on Friday, January 22, so stop watching that online video series for five minutes and get working on those forms!
And while we’re talking about deadline extensions, the International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV) is giving you more time, too! Individuals who would like the opportunity to judge the 2010 Streamy Awards by becoming members of the IAWTV now have until 11:59pm PST on Friday, January 22 to apply.

I wish the deadline hadn’t been extended. It pains me to have to tweet about voting over and over again. I don’t like populatity contests where people pollute the tweet stream with requests for votes.

It’s refreshing that The Streamy’s have included at least one category that allows the solitary vlogger to win, the rest of the nominations being part of series.
The individual vlogger is where all this started, and I’m glad that the individual get’s at least one chance to win something.
